District/State Prep + Banquet

3/7/2026 – USAWKS District 3 Championship Tournament @ Salina Tony’s Pizza Events Center – FLYER

There are 4 districts in KS that clubs are divided into.  Each district hosts their own championships.  The top 4 at each weigh qualify for the state championship in Topeka the following weekend.

D3 Championships – SIGN UP

D3 Weigh ins –  March 6th 6-8pm: Onsite @ Salina, Satellite @ Emporia, Satellite @ Manhattan, Satellite @ Topeka(not us officially yet- hopefully Seaman)  

D3 Deadline –  Wednesday March 4th @ 6pm.  

D3 Seeding meeting – is Wednesday March 4th @ 6pm.  I will send out an update requesting seeding information soon.  To help your wrestlers get the best placement in the in their district bracket, I will need a list of matches won or lost vs anyone in our around your weigh class from our district.  The wrestler list will be available on USA bracketing prior to the seeding meeting.  THE BEST THING YOU COULD DO FOR NOW IS GET A LIST OF ALL WINS/LOSSES ON THE SEASON WITH LAST NAME AND CLUB OF OPPONENT AND TYPE OF WIN/LOSS MARKED DOWN. 

D3 Table Workers – SIGN UP HERE – TBTWC is responsible for running 1 table at the district tournament each session. We need 2-3 people for EACH session AM/PM. So a total of 4-6 for the day.

3/13, 3/14, 3/15 – USAWKS State Championship Tournament @ Topeka Stormont Vail Events Center – FLYER

Qualifier Gifts – The club will pay all TBT D3 State Qualifiers entry fee($25) on the day of districts.  The club will also pay for (1) state t-shirt per qualifier.  This includes (1) t-shirt per 6U/Rookie State entrants who will be on the state qualifier t-shirt.  Be on the lookout for a google form to order your wrestlers free qualifier shirt.   This will be separate from the BlueChip site to come for parents/families to order state shirts.

State Table Workers – SIGN UP HERE – TBTWC is responsible for running 1 table at the state tournament each session. We need 3-4 people for EACH session each day Fri/Sat/Sun + AM/PM. 

State Poster Board – If your wrestler qualifies for state, it is common to have banners and or poster boards printed with a picture of your wrestler on it to hang in the arena during the weekend.  If you would like to purchase one for your wrestler(s), please send a picture, age division, weight division to Bas Mama on discord so that she can get everyone formatted in a .pdf for ordering.  Ordering instructions will be coming soon.
